Reimagine Your HEIRLOOMS
Your designer helps you create a piece that honors your stone’s past while transforming it into a future treasure.
How It Works
Get started on redesigning an heirloom piece by connecting with one of our jewelry designers via our contact form or by email. We request that you provide us with photos and descriptions of the piece you’d like to create so that we’re able to better understand your project. In order to begin the revamp project, we must first receive your piece so that we can inspect the quality the stones to assess whether they are eligible for resetting. Often times stones may be chipped or cracked but this is not visible unless looked at under a microscope. Damaged stones will not be able to be reset. Once we understand which materials are involved along with your budget range, we will begin the process of designing your new piece.
Designing Your Piece
Generating design concepts will include presenting a drafts or sketch of your new design, followed by a CAD rendering. The design will be confirmed once we have your heirloom jewelry in our possession, which will allow to get a better understanding of the condition and size of your materials. A few things that we will consider when creating your new piece include: how many pieces are we creating, what is your current style, how do you want this piece to fit into your lifestyle (everyday wear or only for special occasions)?
Lead Time
Although each project will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis, it generally takes approximately six weeks from the first design consultation to you receiving your redesigned piece. This includes the redesign process, receiving your heirloom piece, providing our assessment, resetting your stones, and delivering your new piece to your home.
Pricing
As each piece is a custom redesign, we do not have standard pricing when it comes to reimagining your heirloom stones. An initial design consultation is required in order for us to gauge the project scope and provide you with a cost estimate. The service cost to set your provided stone is $500, which is in addition to the cost of the setting.
Insurance
Our insurance policy safeguards the worth of your items throughout their stay with us and during transit using our shipping labels. Prior to sending your items to us, we ask that you provide an estimated value of the pieces and/or provide an appraisal or GIA certificate (if available).
How WOVE Was Started
Andrew and Brian were two West Point classmates who got the idea for Wove while serving together overseas in the US army.
The idea began after they designed an engagement ring service to help fellow deployed service members design and buy engagement rings remotely with confidence. The duo created exact custom engagement ring replicas to provide their friends certainty on what the final ring would look and feel like.
Word spread that there was an option to skip the jewelry store while still being able to try on your ring before buying, and people in the US began asking for this service back home. Along with the custom replica, we match you with your own jewelry designer and handcraft your final ring our workshop in Lancaster, PA. Your final ring is delivered to your door within 3 weeks – twice as fast as the industry standard.
